Iron Flame: Episode 13: Chapters 61-66

It’s the final countdown, Rekindlers—and the end of Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros does not go quietly. In this explosive finale episode, we dive headfirst into Chapters 61–66, where everything (and we mean everything) is on fire—literally, emotionally, and magically.

We’ve got murder-lizards from above, magical Wi-Fi meltdowns, Tairn playing dragon Uber, and Violet wielding lightning like a caffeinated demigod. There’s love confessions mid-battle, a deadly game of enchanted hot potato, and a surprise stormy pep talk from Mama Sorrengail. And that’s just the first chapter.

We break down Rhiannon’s action-hero entrance, Andarna’s epic dragon puberty glow-up, and Violet’s race to activate the final wardstone while bleeding from what feels like 87 places. Oh—and Sloane’s a siphon now? Casual.

But when General Sorrengail pulls the most devastating “I’m proud of you” in the history of fiction, we fall apart right alongside Violet. The wards rise. The battle ends. And Xaden… changes.

From heart-wrenching sacrifice to soul-crushing secrets, this is the episode where dragons roar, truths burn, and our hearts break all over again. Grab a tissue and your favorite dagger—because the war might be over, but nothing will ever be the same.
